Dave's Story

My dad, Dave Berk, is one of the strongest, most warm-hearted people we know. Recently, he was diagnosed with Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma (a rare and aggressive bile duct cancer) and Adenocarcinoma. These are not easy words to say, and they haven't been easy to live with — but Dave faces every single day with grace, humor, and a stubbornness that we're pretty sure he passed down to me.

Cancer doesn't just affect the person fighting it. It ripples through the whole family — emotionally, physically, and financially. Medical appointments, treatments, and the everyday weight of it all adds up in ways that are hard to describe.
